Blue Topaz
Topaz occurs in a range of colors, from a yellow and pink, to blue and green. Topaz is found in igneous rocks such as granites and volcanic lavas, or as water-worn pebbles.
The name is said to derive from the Sanskrit word for fire, 'tapas.'
Blue Topaz is the birthstone for December.
