DRUZY QUARTZ is characterized by minute crystals forming a crust on the interior of a geode. As a geode is formed inside a gas bubble in lava, layers of agate are deposited over time by water. Occasionally, the agate deposits will crystallize into stunning specimens of quartz. Every specimen is unique.
MABE PEARL is a crescent-shaped pearl which grows against the inside of the oyster's shell rather than within its tissue. Mabe pearls occasionally appear in nature, however cultured mabe pearls are grown intentionally. Blister pearls are implanted against the oyster's shell and eventually develop into a hemispheric form with a flat back. The blister pearl is then cut out of the shell and the back of the blister pearl is capped with a piece of mother of pearl, it then becomes a Mabe pearl.
